The new Li-HD technology makes batteries strong and compact: Densely packed cells ensure less weight and slimmer batteries with the same performance. As part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), the 8.0 Ah 18 V battery can be used on more than 110 machines from different manufacturers: CAS connects nine tool manufacturers that use the same battery technology. The battery has a long service life thanks to optimum protection against soiling. The external rubber coating also makes it very robust. The capacity indicator is used to permanently monitor the charge level. It can be stored for a long time as there is virtually no self-discharge.
