Es können problemlos 50 - 90 mm Nägel in Hartholz platziert werden, hier geben andere Akku Nagler oft auf. Des Weiteren besitzt er eine so schnelle Nachladungsfunktion, dass der Arbeitsfortschritt immens hoch ist. Durch den Akkuantrieb ist kein Wechsel von Gaskartuschen notwendig, auch eine Reinigung wegen Gasbetrieb muss unter diesen Umständen nicht stattfinden. Es gibt zwei Feuermodi, zum Einen der einzelne Schuss des Nagels und zum anderen einen Dreifach-Schuss. So ist ein präzises Arbeiten sowie ein schneller Arbeitsfortschritt problemlos möglich. Die werkzeuglose und schnelle Tiefeneinstellung des Akku Naglers lässt ein bündiges Platzieren des Nagels zu, ohne daß lästige und lange dauernden Voreinstellungen gemacht werden müssen. Bei einer Ladehemmung ist durch das offene Magazin eine Beseitigung des Störfaktors schnell und einfach vollzogen. Das verbaute LED Licht am M18 FFN gewährleistet die gewünschte Platzierung und bietet auch bei schlechteren Sichtverhältnissen genügend Licht. Der bürstenlose ( Brushless ) Motor verspricht eine lange Lebensdauer. Der Akku Nagler ist mit den M18 Akkus von Milwaukee zu 100 % kompatibel.
