Product description:
The GBH 18 V-EC cordless hammer drill is designed for drilling in concrete, brick and stone and for lightweight chipping work. It is also suitable for screwdriving and non-impact drilling in wood, metal, ceramics and plastics. This tool is equipped with Bosch's Electronic Cell Protection (ECP). What's more, it features a brushless motor for extended lifetime. The GBH 18 V-EC also features Electronic Motor Protection, protecting the motor against overloads. This hammer drill is ultra-compact and particularly light, making it a pleasure to work with. The integrated LED ensures optimum lighting conditions. The GBA 5.0 Ah 18-volt battery supplied has a maximum autonomy of 25%, unlike the model with a capacity of 4.0 Ah. Its CoolPack technology means it lasts 100 times longer than the 4.0 Ah model (from Bosch). This battery is part of the Bosch flexible Power system, making it compatible with all appliances in the Bosch 18-volt range. It also boasts an ultra-sturdy design, so even a fall from several metres onto hard ground won't affect its performance. The GAL 1880 CV charger supplied by Bosch recharges batteries 50 times faster than its predecessor, the AL 1860 CV. It features innovative Active Air Cooling technology, which boosts battery life.
