The DeWalt 118 quick charger charges all DEWALT XR sliding batteries with 18.0 volts with up to 8 A as well as DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries (54.0 or 18.0 volts with max. 6.0 Ah). In addition, the DeWalt DCB 118's 2-step charging process with special fan cooling ensures a long battery life with maximum storage capacity thanks to particularly gentle charging. The integrated LED display on the DeWalt DCB 118 provides information on the battery and charge status and ensures maximum convenience when working. The DCB 118 quick charger is also suitable for wall mounting and its compact dimensions make it ideal for installation. Included with the DeWalt DCB 118 XR FlexVolt 54 V / 18 V quick charger are 2x Dewalt DCB 546 XR FlexVolt 54 / 18 V 6.0 Ah Li-lon batteries. The DCB 546 XR FlexVolt battery impresses with its high battery power of 108 Wh and is therefore ideal for extremely heavy-duty applications over a longer period of time. The DCB 546 is backwards compatible and can largely be used in all 18.0 volt XR machines. Thanks to its special electronics, the DCB 546 has effective protection against overload, overheating and deep discharge. Thanks to its robust and break-proof design and shock-proof soldered battery cells, the DCB 546 is ideal for tough construction site use. The DCB 546 also has a charge status indicator with 3 LEDs and a long runtime thanks to its 6.0 Ah capacity. The FlexVolt 54 V battery has no memory effect and no self-discharge. Suitable for all DeWalt XR cordless machines with 54.0 V and 18.0 V (except DCS 371 band saw and DCR 016, 017 and Tough-Radio radios).
