Product Description:

The Festool TKS 80 EBS circular table saw maximises safety in the workshop. Thanks to the sensitive SawStop technology, more safety is ensured when sawing non-conductive metals. The saw stops immediately on contact with the skin and disappears into the work surface. The cartridge releases a pre-tensioned spring and shoots an aluminium block into the saw blade. Of course, the SawStop technology can also be switched off so that conductive materials can be sawn. Once triggered, the cartridge can be replaced in a few simple steps. Every year there are around 4000 injuries when using a circular saw. This corresponds to 16 injuries per working day. Approximately 26% of serious accidents result in an accident pension. These figures should give every user pause for thought, and you should invest in your most valuable asset - your body and your health. The TKS 80 EBS can be used very flexibly. Whether a cutting height of 80 mm, the extendable working length or the length and angle stop, all this ensures great flexibility when working. The angle scale with locking points and fine adjustment is perfect for cross-cuts and rip cuts. Thanks to the left-hand swivelling of the saw blade, there is less tear-out on the workpiece. Cross-cuts up to a width of 820 mm with a sliding table and a cutting depth of 20 mm are possible without any problems. Longitudinal cuts up to a cutting height of 80 mm and a width of 600 mm with widening are also no problem. Furthermore, the CLEANTEC extraction sleeve ensures a clear view and low-dust working. The side-mounted tool garage provides space for saw blades, cartridges and the push stick.
