Die DCS 552 ist eine leistungsstarke Akku Handkreissäge für Metallarbeiten. Der eingebaute Motor liefert eine Drehzahl von bis zu 3.600 U/min, für ein schnelles und sauberes Schneiden verschiedenster Metalle. Durch den gummierten Soft-Grip liegt das Gerät auch nach längeren Arbeiten angenehm in der Hand. Für maximale Sicherheit hat Makita einen Verriegelungshebel verbaut, welcher ein unbeabsichtigtes Starten der Maschine verhindert. Außerdem verfügt die Säge über eine elektrische Bremse. Zusätzlichen Komfort liefert die starke LED-Leuchte, mit welcher der Arbeitsbereich auch unter schwierigen Verhältnissen gut ausgeleuchtet wird. Ein eingebauter Staubsammelbehälter verhindert, dass umherfliegende Späne die Umgebung und die Maschine verschmutzen. Der Behälter kann durch ein einfaches Öffnen der Klappe geleert werden.
