The rotary Hammer DHR 280 ZJ is a powerful cordless hammer drill from Makita. The hammer drill is powered by two Makita 18 Volt batteries to meet tasks with highest demands. The device has a brushless motor, which has a significant positive effect on the durability and endurance of the device. A slip clutch protects the user in case the hammer drill should jam while working. In addition, Makita has installed its Xtreme Protect Technology, which ensures optimum protection against dust and splash water. This makes the drill extremely resistant and durable. The anti-vibration technology ensures a high level of comfort, which counteracts fatigue caused by vibration. In addition, there is a strong LED in the device which illuminates the working area optimally and a warning indicator for low battery capacity. The Makita DC 18 RC is a quick battery charger for 7.2 - 18 Volt Li-Ion batteries from Makita. The charger permanently monitors and controls the voltage and temperature by means of an integrated microprocessor, which guarantees optimal charging processes and at the same time protects the batteries by means of an optimally guided cooling air control. The quick charger charges the 18 Volt battery generation from Makita extremely fast, which leads to very short charging breaks or to a flowing work process as soon as e.g. two batteries are available. The Makita BL 1850 B battery with 5 Ah convinces with maximized endurance at the same weight (compared to 3 Ah batteries). An additional advantage is the short charging time of only 45 minutes in the Makita charger. The battery has a maximum service life thanks to low self-discharge and protection against short circuit, overvoltage and overheating. Plus, the BL 1850 B has an LED - charge level display to check the remaining energy in the battery.
