The brushless motor ensures more endurance, a longer service life and very fast sawing progress. The Makita DJR 188 is equipped with XPT - Xtreme Protect Technology to ensure optimum protection against dust and splash water even under tough conditions. The vertically arranged crank mechanism allows the lifting bar to move backwards more quickly and the reinforced guide shoe is fixed. The saw blade can be changed without tools and the Makita DJR 188 is also equipped with a bright LED with afterglow function.
