It impresses with its increased autonomy and power, while weighing only 40 grams more than the 5 Ah Makita battery. Also, the full charge time is only 55 minutes (with a DC 18 RC charger), making the battery ultra fast to use compared to work or downtime. This 1860 B battery is as always compatible with all 18-volt class Makita appliances and has a long runtime and life thanks to its Li-Ion technology.
The Makita DC 18 RC charger of this Hedge Trimmer can be used with Li-Ion batteries from 9.6 to 18 volts. It continuously monitors and manages the voltage and temperature with an integrated microprocessor, which ensures complete charging processes while protecting the batteries with optimal cooling air management. This charger allows the Makita 18-volt battery range to be charged very quickly, reducing charging times and making it easy to work with two batteries, for example.
