The guide rail 199140-0 from Makita is a tool specifically designed for plunge saws, circular saws and Jigsaws devices: It is manufactured from extruded aluminum and is suitable for a various range of materials. The rail features replaceable splinter guard with anti-slip strips on the underside, and can be used in combination with top running strips for a smooth glide. The splinter guard is transparent and thus invisible on the guide rail. It is also fitted with guide rail joints that ensure a precise connection between two or more rails. These joints disappear completely into the guide rail, allowing the machine to slide smoothly. The clamps are screwed into the guide rail ensuring a secure fit.
