Product Description:
The Makita UC022G is a cordless chainsaw of the latest generation, which is equipped with a powerful 40 V max battery and offers a bar length of 35 cm (14"). Particularly noteworthy is the improved, tool-free chain tensioner, which significantly increases comfort and is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. With an impressive chain speed of 25.5 m/s and a total weight of just 5.0 kg (including the BL4040F battery), this saw combines high efficiency with a lightweight design. The saw offers tool-free chain changing and tensioning as well as a simple starting system that eliminates the need for re-unlocking. Its excellent acceleration minimises idle time between cuts. A clearly visible felling line makes it easy to determine the direction in which trees are falling, and the adjustable automatic chain lubrication system with large oil tank ensures constant maintenance during operation. Safety is enhanced by the newly added safety interlock lever on the trigger, which prevents accidental switch-on and extends the automatic switch-off time to up to 5 minutes if the switch is not operated. The machine is also equipped with a feedback function that signals to the user when the maximum load limit has been reached through changes in operating noise and speed. The UC022G utilises eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT), which offers improved dust and water resistance and keeps the chainsaw ready for use in harsh conditions. Although the BL4080 model is not compatible with this chainsaw and the use of BL4025 and BL4020 is not recommended, it optimally supports the BL4040F and BL4050F high-output batteries to guarantee maximum performance. The 80TXL saw chain with a groove width of 1.1 mm promotes fast work progress and is particularly useful for delimbing. An efficient restart function enables cutting work to continue quickly even if the chain is blocked by a heavy load.
