Several available accessories make it an all-rounder for gardening and landscaping. This makes it unbeatably cost-effective, as you only need the right attachment for the intended work and not a multitude of tools. Whether as a hedge trimmer, chainsaw, grass trimmer, scythe, floor cutter or sweeper, it seems as if it can do it all. All tools can be changed completely without tools. A 40 V max. battery (not included) provides the tool with an extremely high level of power. Makita has equipped the UX 01 G multifunctional drive with the latest technology, so it is optimally protected against dust and splash water with Xtreme Protection Technology ( XTP ). The powerful motor features Active Feedback Sensing Technology ( AFT ), which stops the tool immediately if it jams. The infinitely variable speed control thanks to the electronic switch and the additional three-stage electronic speed setting is designed for all applications. Reversing the direction of rotation with the scythe or lawn trimmer attachment makes it easy to remove grass cuttings.
