The Metabo STA 18 LTX 100 cordless jigsaw is a powerful precision tool for demanding sawing work, which effortlessly cuts through even hard materials thanks to its brushless high-performance motor with a constantly high stroke rate under load. The jigsaw impresses with its outstanding ergonomics, a soft grip surface for a secure hold and comfortable working in any position, as well as a low-lying saw blade guide that enables precise, straight cuts. Thanks to Metabo Quick, saw blades can be changed quickly and without tools - including automatic ejection. An efficient chip blowing function ensures a clear view of the cutting line, while the integrated LED work light, which can be switched off, ensures optimum visibility even in poor lighting conditions - even when cutting from below. The integrated restart protection prevents unintentional starting after changing the battery, which further increases safety. The durable design with robust die-cast aluminium gear housing and optimised gear design guarantees a long service life - even in continuous use. An all-purpose vacuum cleaner can be connected for clean working, and the supplied protective plate and chip guard ensure tear-free cuts that are gentle on the surface. The jigsaw is part of the CAS (Cordless Alliance System) and is therefore compatible with all 18V rechargeable batteries and chargers of the CAS brands - for maximum flexibility and system freedom.
