The Metabo STA 18 LTX 100 cordless jigsaw is a powerful precision tool for demanding sawing work, which cuts even hard materials effortlessly thanks to its brushless high-performance motor with consistently high stroke rate under load. The jigsaw impresses with its excellent ergonomics, a soft grip surface for a secure hold and comfortable working in any position, and a low-lying saw blade guide that enables precise, straight cuts. Thanks to Metabo Quick, the saw blade can be changed quickly and without tools – including automatic ejection. An efficient chip blowing function ensures a clear view of the cutting line, while the integrated, switchable LED work light ensures optimum visibility even in poor lighting conditions – even when cutting from below. The integrated restart protection prevents accidental start-up after changing the battery, which further increases safety. The durable design with a robust die-cast aluminium gear housing and optimised gear design guarantees a long service life – even in continuous use. A wet/dry vacuum cleaner can be connected for clean working, and the supplied protective plate and chip guard enable tear-free and surface-friendly cuts with ease. The jigsaw is part of the CAS (Cordless Alliance System) and is therefore compatible with all 18V batteries and chargers from the CAS brands – for maximum flexibility and system freedom.
