Scope of Delivery:
- Flap sander Ø20xH10mm grit size 120
Product Description:
Synthetic resin bond - universally applicable - also suitable for machining brass, copper and zinc - Shank ∅ 3 mm
Technical Data:
- Shank Ø: 3mm
- Drive type: Straight grinder, flexible shaft drive
- Application recommendation: Reducing the contact pressure and peripheral speed and adding grinding oil reduces tool wear and the temperature load on the workpiece. Increasing the cutting speed results in a slightly finer surface finish. Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly coarser. The softer the material to be machined, the coarser the surface (when using , For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15-20 m/s. This achieves an ideal compromise between stock removal rate, surface finish, temperature load on the workpiece and tool wear. Use a suitable grinding oil for the material in order to significantly increase the service life and grinding performance of the tools. The removal rate should be increased by using a coarser grit and not by increasing the contact pressure in order to prevent unnecessary tool wear and thermal stress on the workpiece.
- Machinable materials: Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC, cast steel, aluminium, malleable cast iron, brass, steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC), hardened, tempered steels over 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC), stainless steel (INOX), copper, grey/spheroidal graphite cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS)
- Machining tasks: Gradual fine grinding, structuring (matting, line matting and satin finishing), deburring, levelling, weld seam processing, surface processing
- Width: 10mm
- Note: PFERDERGONOMICS recommends flap discs in order to sustainably reduce the vibration and noise generated during use and to improve working comfort.
- Length, shaft: 40mm
- RPM, opt.: 19000RPM
- Safety instructions: For safety reasons, the specified maximum permissible speed must never be exceeded. The contact pressure must be significantly reduced if the specified optimum speed is exceeded. Safety is only guaranteed if the clamping length is at least 15 mm and the specified maximum speed is not exceeded with open shank lengths.
- Advantages: Can be used very close to edges and at angles thanks to the flat casting core design. Consistently high material removal over the entire service life, as new, aggressive abrasive is constantly released. Optimum contour adaptation due to high flexibility.
