Der Picard Fäustel Black Tec Nr. 328 FS besitzt einen ein Kilogramm schweren Kopf, mit dem er als Schlagwerkzeug vielseitig eingesetzt werden kann. Der Kopf des Hammers besteht aus legiertem PICARD Spezialstahl, welcher sorgfältig gehärtet und angelassen wurde. Dementsprechend sind die quadratischen Aufschlagflächen des Fäustels für starke Belastungen ausgelegt. Um den Fäustel vor Korrosion zu schützen ist der Kopf, abgesehen von den Aufschlagflächen, komplett pulverlackiert. Die Aufschlagflächen werden geschliffen und mit gebrochenen Kanten ausgeliefert. Durch den verwendeten zwei Komponenten Kleber entsteht zwischen dem Stiel und dem Kopf eine starke Verbindung. Für eine ergonomische, angenehme und schwingungsarme Handhabung sorgt der drei Komponenten Kunststoff Stiel mit innenliegendem Fiberglaskern und die Gummierte Grifffläche.
