The Festool FS 1400/2 BL guide rail is not only a top-class precision tool, but also a limited edition anniversary model to mark Festool's 100th anniversary - in an exclusive blue design. As part of the special "100 years of Festool" campaign, it honours the trade and all those who have worked with Festool since 1925. The 1,400 mm long guide rail impresses with its robust, lightweight aluminium construction and ensures precise, straight cuts and grooves, whether using a plunge-cut saw or router. Thanks to the tool-free adjustable guide jaws of the plunge-cut saws, the machine can be guided on the rail without play, ensuring maximum precision. The rubber lip along the scribe serves as splinter protection and guarantees tear-free cuts, even at difficult angles. For high-precision routing work, the rail offers the option of using a guide stop for routers, enabling precise grooves to be made. Diagonal cuts can also be realised in no time at all - the required angle is transferred directly from the workpiece or wall to the guide rail using the combination jig. An anti-slip adhesive pad ensures a stable grip, even on smooth materials, and also protects sensitive surfaces from scratches.
