The Festool Akkubohrschrauber exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is high, the design is ergonomic and functional, and the high speed and four-speed gearbox make working a pleasure and efficient. The Kickback protection adds extra safety, the adjustable working light is bright and customizable, and the FastFix connector makes swapping bits quick and easy. The Centrotec system ensures precise circular sawing, and the included extras and ability to purchase additional bits complete the package. I'm very happy with the purchase and think the slightly higher price is well worth it.

With the TDC 18/4, Festool offers a powerful cordless drill driver for the highest demands. The combination of a handy design and enormous power enables comfortable and effective working. Thanks to the 4 different gears, the drill driver can be optimised for all applications. This means that screwing with 50 Nm is just as possible in 1st gear as drilling in 4th gear at 3600 rpm. The brushless EC-TEC motor combines enormous resilience and endurance with low wear and therefore a long service life. Thanks to the FastFix interface, the attachments can be changed quickly and without tools. The KickbackStop function minimises the risk of serious injury when the drill driver jams by stopping the motor, thereby protecting the user's health. Die hohe Drehzahl und das Vierganggetriebe machen das Arbeiten angenehmer und effizienter. Der Kickback Schutz bietet zusätzliche Sicherheit und die Arbeitsleuchte ist hell und individuell anpassbar. Die FastFix Schnittstelle ermöglicht schnelles und einfaches Wechseln der Aufsätze und das Centrotec System bietet eine hohe Rundlaufgenauigkeit. Das mitgelieferte Zubehör und die Möglichkeit, weitere Aufsätze zu erwerben, runden das Gesamtpaket ab. Der Systainer ist praktisch und robust und sorgt für eine ordentliche Aufbewahrung und einfachen Transport.
